This introduction to body checking is a series of progressive drills developed by RINK Professionals to provide a sound curriculum for coaches to follow.
The Rink Training Centre's HIGH PERFORMANCE (HP3) Body Checking Program was created to provide players at a high level the ability to properly deliver and receive body checks. We will take on a focused approach on how to do so safely, ensuring players understand the concepts that will allow them to protect themselves and their opponents when delivering body checks.
Our High Performance Power Skating Program will be the first program we have offered that takes a specific focus on Small Area Skating techniques. This program will take a focused approach on improving player’s edge awareness, speed, agility, and overall skating technique in those tight areas.
