Brooks Macek
RED BULL MUNCHEN - DEL

Brooks is coming off an appearance in the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics where he and Team Germany took home the Silver Medal, including a semi-final upset win over Canada. Macek plays for Red Bull Munchen in the DEL, which is Germany's top hockey league. Brooks and his Red Bull team are currently in the DEL Deutscher Meister 2018 semi-finals against Alder Mannheim.

 Brooks trains in  1v1 sessions with our team of Rink Professionals.

Scott Gall
LAKEHEAD UNIVERSITY - 
U SPORTS

Scott Gall has just finished playing in his first season for the Lakehead University Thunderwolves. Prior to his U-sports career, Scott was a member of the Winkler Flyers Junior A hockey club of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League for four full seasons. As his Freshman hockey season ended earlier in the month, Gall continues his studies in the Business program at Lakehead University. 

Scott trains in our R1, College program during the summer months.


Riley Stotts
CALGARY HITMEN - WHL

Riley, a member of of Calgary Hitmen of the Western Hockey League, is in his second full season of Major Junior hockey. Stotts was traded from the Swift Current Broncos to the Hitmen just before the trade deadline this past January. The transaction was considered a blockbuster trade as it involved seven players in total between both teams. Stotts will be a major building block in a rebuild for the Hitmen.

Aaron Boyd
PRINCE GEORGE COUGARS - WHL
 
Aaron Boyd has just finished his 4th and final season of Major Junior Hockey playing for the Prince George Cougars of the Western Hockey League. Aaron was drafted by the Cougars in 2012 in the second round, #43 overall, and spent his entire Junior career with the club appearing in an impressive 251 regular season games. This season, Boyd was one of the three overage players on the Cougars roster. 

Aaron trains with our Rink Professionals in Small Group sessions during the summer months.

Kayla Friesen
ST. CLOUD STATE HUSKIES - NCAA DIV. I

Kayla Friesen has recently completed her second hockey season as a student-athlete at the St. Cloud State University. Kayla had a tremendous year with the Huskies and helped them reach the WCHA Quarterfinals. In the past, Kayla has also represented team Canada by playing in the 2016 IIHF Worlds U-18. Before attending SCSU, Kayla attended St. Mary's Academy and played hockey for their Prep program

Kayla trains in our R1, Female program during the summer months.

Connor Hamonic
UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN-SUPERIOR - NCAA Div III

Connor Hamonic has recently finished his freshman season of hockey at the University of Wisconsin-Superior, in NCAA Division III. The Winnipeg, MB native, joined the Yellow Jackets after a 4-year career with the Winkler Flyers, serving as team captain for his last 2 seasons. Hamonic is majoring in Business Management at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. 

Connor trains in our R1, Junior/College program during the summer months. 

Michael Ladyman
WINNIPEG BLUES - MJHL

Michael Ladyman is suiting up in his first ever Junior Hockey season with the Winnipeg Blues. Last season, Ladyman played midget hockey with our inaugural Rink Hockey Academy Midget Prep team. Michael has had a very successful season with the Blues, picking up a spot on the MJHL Rookie All-Star Team at the end of the regular season. 

Michael trains in our R1, Junior program during the summer months.

Reilly Funk 
CENTRAL PLAINS CAPITALS - MMHL

Reilly Funk has recently finished his third and final season of midget hockey with the Central Plains Capitals of the Manitoba Midget AAA Hockey League. Before joining the Capitals, the Portage native began the season playing 20 games with his hometown Portage Terriers of the MJHL. Funk is also currently listed with the WHL's Brandon Wheat Kings.  

Reilly trains in our Portage Development Program during the summer months.

Reece Richmond
YELLOWHEAD CHIEFS - MMHL

Reece Richmond wrapped up his first season of Midget hockey playing for the Yellowhead Chiefs of the Manitoba Provincial AAA League. Last season, Reece was drafted in the 1st round, #2nd overall by the Dauphin Kings in the MJHL Bantam Draft. The Forrest, MB native had a solid season with the Chiefs, helping the team claim a playoff spot. 

Reece trains in our R1, Junior Prep program during the summer months.

Alix Yallowega
BALMORAL HALL BLAZERS - JWHL

Alix has recently finished up her  sophomore  season as a member of the Balmoral Hall School Prep Hockey team. Yallowega was an important piece to the Blazers that just wrapped up their season a couple weeks ago in Washington. In the 2019 campaign, Alix will be a big part of the leadership group for the Blazers as she will be the only returning player in her Senior year. 


Alix participates in 1v1 sessions with our staff of Rink Professionals and also trains in our R1, Female program during the summer months.
