What You’ll Do:  

• On-Ice Leadership: Lead and support high-quality training sessions across all levels, ensuring consistent delivery of RINK’s coaching standards and mentoring development coaches.
• Program Oversight: Ensure programs align with RINK’s development model and maintain coaching quality across sessions.
• Coach Development: Mentor and support coaches through training, feedback, and internal development initiatives.
• Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with athletes and families, providing clear feedback and personalized development plans.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with certifications and integrate innovative training methods to keep RINK at the forefront of hockey development.

Manager, On-Ice Programming & Development
RINK On-Ice Development

Location: RINK Kelowna located at 416 Adams Ct Kelowna B.C.

Ready to lead, innovate, and live lakeside?

In this vital role, you’ll be at the forefront of hockey development in Kelowna. This role is ideal for a driven leader ready to take ownership of regional programming, coach development, and client experience—all while living in one of Canada’s most desirable locations. This role will report to Winnipeg’s Director, On-Ice Programming & Development, Jon Cara.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• On-Ice Program Leadership & Execution
• Lead seasonal program evaluations and ensure RINK standards are met.
• Oversee coach training and development plans.
• Innovate training methodologies and integrate advanced techniques.
• Design and implement skill development curriculums.
• Execute on-ice sessions across all levels to maintain excellence.
• Client Experience & Relationship Management
• Develop retention strategies and seasonal engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with coordinators to enhance client satisfaction.
• Coach Oversight & Talent Development
• Ensure certifications and professional development plans are completed.
• Support individual training plans for development coaches.
• Operational Execution & Satellite Program Management
• Manage budgets, scheduling, and ice bookings across the region.
• Foster strong relationships with external facilities.
• Lead strategic expansion and optimize program delivery.

Zamboni Driver/Facility Operator

Location: RINK Training Centre located at 57 South Landing Drive, Oak Bluff, MB.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Facility Maintenance: Help keep the entire facility in excellent condition, from the ice to the benches, change rooms, observation areas, and everything in between.
• Grounds Maintenance: Assist with outdoor tasks like lawn cutting, sweeping, and snow removal to keep the grounds looking great year-round.
• Operating the Zamboni: Maintain and perfect multiple ice surfaces, ensuring they’re clean, smooth, and ready for action.
• Safety & Equipment Monitoring: Ensure all facility equipment is running safely and efficiently, including refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Technical Repairs: Assist with basic maintenance and repairs for both indoor and outdoor systems—whether it's fixing a broken light or keeping equipment in top working order.
• Record Keeping: Maintain detailed logs and records of ice conditions, equipment readings, and any maintenance or repairs performed.

Part-Time Performance Coach
Testify Performance

Location: RINK Training Centre located at 57 South Landing Drive, Oak Bluff, MB.

Who We’re Looking For: 

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about personal, professional, and organizational progress. Someone who enjoys the challenge of a growth-focused, fast-paced environment and thrives in a team setting delivering athletic and wellness programs for Testify athletes and members.   

Key Attributes For Success: 

• Someone who holds a passion for strength and conditioning and the science that supports it 
• A positive, professional and approachable character 
• Strong organizational skills and experience with creating strength & conditioning plans, plan adaptations, to promote an integrated, results driven training experience 
• CSCS or similar an asset  
• Clear police information and abuse registry searches  

What You’ll Do:  

• Develop, plan and execute performance sessions  
• Conduct assessments 
• Coordinate and track client feedback  
• Understand and adapt testing results  
• Assist with programming development and adaptations 
• Liaise with other RINK professionals to support training and rehabilitation efforts

Client Service Associate
RINK Training Centre

Location: RINK Training Centre located at 57 South Landing Drive, Oak Bluff, MB.

Who We're Looking For:

We’re seeking someone who is dedicated to providing top-notch service and thrives in a busy, customer-facing role. If you have experience in customer service and sales, particularly in hockey or sports development, this could be the perfect fit for you.

• Strong time management and multiple priority management
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• A genuine passion for delivering excellent service
• Ability to share product knowledge and drive sales
• Highly organized with a proactive approach
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel experience is a plus!)

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional service to our valued patrons
• Help clients understand and enroll in RINK’s programming, supporting the sales process
• Manage calls and emails across all RINK departments
• Stay up to date on all programming and services to assist clients effectively
• Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining documents, check-in sheets, and databases (e.g., EZ Facility)
• Contribute to the overall upkeep and organization of common areas
• Assist with retail sales and customer interactions in our store
• Work as part of a collaborative team to meet both customer and organizational needs

This position requires flexibility: The hours for this role are part-time and will vary, including evenings and weekends, providing you with a range of opportunities to contribute and engage with our community.
