The Hockey Development Program is the next step for players who have completed the RINK’s Intro to Hockey Program. This program will continue to work on building the skills required as players start to make the jump into games.

This program will offer players  The average age is 5-7 years old more opportunity to build on fundamentals through skating development, skill development, drills and games. Each session will challenge players to expand their abilities and help prepare them to get ready for the team atmosphere and other RINK Programs.

Drills will be explained at the “Board” and basic rules will be explained and worked on in drills. Rules such as off-side will be explained and worked on in drills.

Players will also learn where each position player stands for a face-off to make sure they are ready for their first game. Teaching players these basic rules will help them in their transition to the games in the upcoming season.

This program is a not a Learn to Skate program.  
Players should have the basics of skating as we will be introducing more puck skills.
